Five days with the Portuguese Judicial Police - Lisbon 2019
The Portuguese police is an example for Switzerland in terms of collaboration between the police and NGOs working together on the problem of children's disappearance.
The "FIRST RESPONDER MISSING CHILDREN TRAINING" and the "11th GLOBAL MISSING CHILDREN'S NETWORK CONFERENCE" conferences were organised by the international network ICMEC which we joined in 2019.
The police forces of Chile, Canada, Ecuador, UK, Spain, Holland, Italy were present to evaluate the progress in this field in each of these countries.
About twenty NGOs were also present to share on the challenges we all face.
The Swiss Federal Police did not respond to the invitation.
