They're hitting the dance floor for us!
La Boum des enfants organizes parties for families. Part of the proceeds are paid to support Missing Children Switzerland.
A famous DJ, light shows, a crowded dance floor: this is not a "jet-set" party organized in a nightclub of Ibiza, but a local party for youngsters and their parents.
La Boum des enfants is targeted to families which includes music, shows and entertainment of all kinds. The cocktails (without alcohol) flow, under parental supervision, of course.
Pandemic and disappearances
Minors are among the most disadvantaged of the last two years of the pandemic.
While everything was done to protect the health of the most vulnerable, children and teenagers were forced to miss out on meetings and many other youthful experiences.
At Missing Children Switzerland, semi-confinement and health measures have even resulted in a 56% increase in the number of missing children cases registered in 2020 by the 116 000 hotline. The family environment has therefore not been spared from the various restrictions.
Release the pressure
After this complicated period, children and parents deserve to be in a much more festive atmosphere, to let off steam, release the pressure and make up for lost time. And what better way to do this than with a concept that is 100% prepared and designed for them?
The last edition, which took place in Geneva on October 16th, was a great success. For the next one, scheduled for December, the organizers promise "even more magic", thanks to a new organization and doubled staff.
But beware, places are limited. For more information, do not hesitate to visit their website and subscribe to their newsletter.
Please note that this is also an opportunity to support Missing Children Switzerland since part of the incomes generated by these events are donated to the Foundation.
A big thanks to the BDE for this solidarity message.
